Their shelter exists to care for cats that require longer shelter stays than a traditional shelter can provide, securing adoption when each cat is healthy and emotionally ready. Their mission is to help cats enjoy life in good health, without pain, in permanent homes and with freedom from uncontrolled reproduction.
Wild Blue Cats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving the precious lives of cats and kittens who are abandoned, abused, neglected, displaced or surrendered, and to find them permanent homes or provide lifetime sanctuary or foster care. They also conduct Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) ventures outside city limits while supporting TNR efforts inside city limits to the best of their capacity. 100% of the cats they help are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and, when not feral, microchipped.
Wild Blue Cats is committed to preventing and eliminating euthanasia of treatable and savable animals. They believe euthanasia is a last resort only for animals suffering severe injuries or illnesses which are causing extreme discomfort and poor quality of life for the animal.
